Greeting Farm: Sunshine and Spotlight

Had so much fun creating this 6x6 mixed media piece using the Spotlight and Sunshine Kits from the Greeting Farm.  All stamping and cutouts are done with the stamps from these kits.  

Started with a 6x6 piece of canvas paper, used Faber Castell Gelatos and Glimmer Mist for background color, stamped background with words & flowers using acrylic paint, ink and gesso, added washi tape then adhered to thick chipboard.  Used stamps on pattern paper for cut outs, paper pieced little girls hair and bathing suit then colored hair.  Embossed 'Bring on the SUN' using part of a sentiment from the kit.  Added doodling and rub-ons, did some coloring with Faber Castell Pitt Pens and edged with gesso.

I love how her hair came out using paper piecing then coloring with Copics.

Gracie Coaster

Altered cork coaster using the Greeting Farm 'Gracie' stamp.  Stamped her on shrink plastic and adhered to altered background.



Used floral stencil, paint and ink to create background. Made foil circles and heart by adhering red foil to cardstock, adding Mod Podge and coloring with Faber Castell Pitt Pens. Used paper pieces from Crafty Secrets Creative Scraps sheets to do paper piecing. Added rub-ons and doodling and edged with thin wire.
