Staying warm this winter season...

Trying to keep everyone warm in the cold Northeast with chunky scarfs!

Easy crochet pattern below.

Pattern for Chunky Cowl/Scarf: 

Pattern: 1 Skein (Lion Brand Homespun), size P hook

Chain 120

Row 1: chain 2, half double crochet into every other chain space with a chain 1 in between, (hdc, ch1, hdc, ch1...), at end of row turn 

Row 2: chain 2, half double crochet in chain space of row 1, chain 1, repeat hdc, ch1 for entire row (be sure to hdc in very last chain space), at end of row turn.

Complete 15 rows, use yarn needle to weave/stitch ends together into infinity circle.

  6. Does the second row and all rows after also skip a chain in between each hdc??? Or do you do every chain in row 2 and after ?

  7. Hello, for the second row you will make a HDC in each hole/space that was created in row 1 under the chain stitch, after the HDC is complete you will do single chain and then another HDC in the next open space and continue this way for each row. I hope this helps!!
